Job Description
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Project Planning & Preparation
- Assist in developing project execution plans, construction schedules, and resource forecasts.
- Interpret and review technical drawings, designs, and specifications.
- Conduct site assessments, surveys, and feasibility checks.
2. Project Execution & Site Supervision
- Oversee daily construction activities to ensure compliance with design, technical standards, and safety
regulations.
- Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site workers to ensure work progress and quality.
- Ensure materials, equipment, and resources are used efficiently and delivered on time.
3. Technical & Engineering Support
- Provide engineering calculations, technical troubleshooting, and field adjustments as required.
- Prepare method statements, inspection & test plans (ITPs), and technical submissions.
- Ensure compliance with water infrastructure standards (pipelines, pumping systems, treatment components,
etc.).
4. Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Conduct quality inspections, testing, and documentation in line with project specifications.
- Ensure all works comply with relevant codes, environmental regulations, and permit requirements.
- Prepare punch lists and follow up on corrective actions.
5. Project Monitoring & Reporting
- Track progress against schedule and report any deviations to management.
- Prepare daily reports, progress reports, site diaries, and technical documentation.
- Support cost monitoring, quantity tracking, and variation order preparation.
6. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
- Ensure full compliance with HSE standards on-site.
- Participate in risk assessments, toolbox talks, and incident investigations when required.
